For as long as I've been able to write, I've loved composing stories and articles. That love for writing combines with my education, experience and dedication to high quality writing to make for the best.
Since the fall of 2003, I have been working full-time as a freelance journalist and copywriter. My work in freelance began a couple of years before that while still in college. Pairing my organization skills with my writing skills, I have formed a successful business called Written Creations, LLC.
Though I have both a B.A. and M.A. in journalism from Ball State University, I continue to push myself and my education. I constantly read industry news, including various books and publications. I belong to organizations that grow my mind as well.
Writing is my passion, but I truly enjoy every aspect of the creative process beginning with research. I am able to and enjoy doing design work and taking photographs as well. I take all components of my work very seriously.
I am an extremely self-motivated person and push myself to perform at the best of my abilities. If it's not my best, then it's not good enough for me. I will continue to work until I am sure I have produced the best possible product for my client, whether the client is a large corporation or a small non-profit organization. And I will make sure the project is completed on time.
My office is based in central Indiana, but I work with clients throughout the country from California to New York and enjoy the diversity being a freelancer brings.
